• In 1979 the Pahlavi dynasty fell to give way for the formation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
• Final letter of Imam al-Mahdi’s (a)Tawqi’ (letter) to Shi’a people. Letters of Imam al-Mahdī (a) or Tawqīʿāt al-Imām al-Mahdī (a) are letters and correspondences of Imam al-Mahdi (a). It sometimes refers to his non-written words as well. There are eighty “tawqi’at” (letters) by Imam al-Mahdi (a). They are mostly issued during the Minor Occultation and are about different issues such as the principles of Shiite beliefs, Islamic jurisprudence, financial matters, and the like. These letters were written mainly during the Imam’s (atfs) Minor Occultation.

• Demise of ‘Allama Muhammad Taqi Majlisi 1070/1660

He passed away in Isfahan on Sha’aban 11, 1070/April 22, 1660 and was buried in Jami’ Mosque of Isfahan. Sayyid Muhammad Baqir Khwansari says he was the first one who spread Shi’a hadith after the emergence of Safivid. Known for his work on Hadith and translation of it into Farsi.
