About the Author:
Sheikh Mohammed Al-Hilli is a prominent Shia Muslim scholar, public speaker, and researcher, serving as Executive Director of Noor Islamic Education in the UK. Born near Kadhimiyya, Iraq, in 1978, he comes from a notable scholarly lineage and moved to Britain in 1989. He holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of London and practiced as a pharmacist for over a decade. Alongside his professional career, he pursued extensive Islamic studies at the International College for Islamic Sciences in London under Ayatollah Fadhil Milani and later in Najaf, Iraq. He also earned an MA in Islamic Studies from Middlesex University and teaches at the Islamic College in London. Deeply involved in interfaith and youth community work, he has led multiple Islamic organisations and initiatives focused on fostering a positive understanding of Islam.
