About the Author:
Sayed Muhammad Jawad Fadhlallah was a Lebanese cleric and the brother of Sayyid Muhammad Hussein Fadhlallah. Born in Najaf on 23 Shawwal 1357 AH, he received his religious education at the Najaf seminary under prominent scholars, including Sayyid Abu al-Qasim al-Khoei, Sayyid Muhammad al-Rohani, and his father, Sayyid Abdulraouf Fadhlallah. He passed away at the age of 38 on 23 Rajab 1395 AH and was buried in the city of Bint Jbeil, Lebanon. His notable works include Al-Imam al-Ridha’, A Historical and Biographical Research, which has been translated into Persian and English, and other writings on topics such as Imam Hassan and Imam Sadiq. He also founded a Husayniyah in the Dhahiya area of Beirut.

Yasin T. Al-Jibouri is a prolific writer, editor, translator, and scholar, authoring 82 books and numerous essays, articles, and research works, including English translations of the Holy Qur’an. A graduate of Clark Atlanta University (formerly Atlanta University) in 1978, he has been recognised by Harvard University in its report Islam in America. He has founded several Islamic organisations in the United States, including the Islamic Society of Georgia and the International Islamic Society of Virginia, and has published works in 76 countries. His scholarship spans Qur’anic translation, Islamic history, jurisprudence, socio-economic justice, and contemporary issues facing Muslims in the modern world, making him a leading figure in promoting Islamic thought and education globally.
